The relationship with senior helpers started out so amazing, but the last 6 months things changed, and I have no idea what inner company changes happened, but it caused the company to go downhill.
.
They have lied consistently, not only to me but the caregivers they were sending. For example, I have a HIGHLY compromised immune system and cannot be vaccinated, but they sent a health care worker to my home that was sick, knowing i would rather not have anyone there if they are sick. When I asked the care worker, they assured me that they had advised her that they had called me and I had stated it was okay. THEY NEVER CALLED ME!!! There were SEVERAL instances that they had told the care workers that they had called me and they had not!!
.
They also told a caregiver that I loved having come to my home that I no longer wanted her back, and then told me that she did jot want to take any clients south of Fort Collin....they lied to us both. Why lie????
.
It quickly became clear that they have put money before quality of care and that is so very sad. I did the math, and they are billing the VA almost $70/hour... and I have reviewed my EOB's recently, and they billed for days that NO ONE WAS HERE!!!! That is your tax dollars hard at work.
.
Contacting the VA today to make sure they are aware... but I was discharged last night because the caregiver that was in my home today stated that I was talking bad about their company in front of her...the ONLY thing that happened while she was here was I received a phone call to set up a different care plan, and when asked i told her why I was going to be leaving Senior Helpers. She asked, and unlike Senior Helpers...i am not going to lie.
.
This is just a drop in the bucket, and such a sad situation, the Care Givers are great, they are there because they want to make a difference in the clients lives, but the company that runs them, seems to be circling the drain... just under 2 years ago when I started with them, they seemed to be so awesome and great, and care so much... but man...so sad!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We are sorry that your experience with us has changed over time. We do try our best with each and every client and we know sometimes we don’t always get it right. We wish you the best and certainly are always willing to help in any way we can, even if it’s recommending a different home care company. Please take care.
