Michigan's Home Care Lobby Day is going virtual!
The Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) Michigan Chapter invites you to join us for our first ever Virtual Lobby Day! Interact with key legislators and decision makers and educate them on our industry and the value we bring to our customers! Whether it is the $2 per hour increase for frontline workers, an increase in the reimbursement from Medicaid, or sharing stories about how we helped seniors weather the pandemic, we have a story to tell. Safety is a top priority during the COVID pandemic, and so is the need to advocate for our workers and clients and make our voices heard by legislators in Lansing…from our own offices to theirs!
If you've never participated in a Lobby Day before because you felt intimidated about meeting with lawmakers, this is the perfect time to start, because we will be right with you to guide the discussion.
You don’t have to take time away from your office! Log in right from your computer and connect one-on-one with the top legislators making decisions that affect your business.
No time or travel costs to get to the Capitol in Lansing!
Since all efforts are local this year, invite on one of your frontline caregivers to be part of the discussion with you. It’s a great way to get them engaged AND to share their first-hand perspective with lawmakers.
