Survey of Labor and Employment Laws Affecting Home Care in Connecticut

All home care agencies are invited to join the HCAOA Connecticut Chapter on Wednesday, April 20 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel for a networking and education luncheon program.

Sami Asaad of FordHarrison will discuss labor and employment laws affecting home care in Connecticut, and will share what HCA owners need to know about new and relevant laws such as paid family and medical leave, non-compete agreements, wage and hour compliance, including new wage range notification, and recreational marijuana.

In addition, the meeting will feature reports from HCAOA, Chapter and committee leaders and representatives:
