The company is owned and operated by Ken and Bernadette Gregson, who have a long history of serving and caring for others. Ken is an Air Force veteran and local pastor; Bernadette served as a full-time caregiver for the couple’s son Matthew, who has autism, until he moved to an adult living community and is on the Board of Directors of Joyful Friends Programs, a nonprofit they started to serve the special needs community.
The Gregsons needed help with Matthew as he was growing up, giving them their first real glimpse into the world of in-home care, which served to foster their commitment to the cause. “We know from first-hand experience how essential in-home services and respite care are for the whole family’s well-being,” says Ken.
They understand that every family’s needs differ and have developed their own spin on the Golden Rule. Instead of treating others the way you want to be treated, the Gregsons want to treat others the way they want to be treated. “Because you will want to be treated differently than I do.”
All their experiences have taught them that the quality of care directly depends on the quality of the caregiver. They are committed to becoming the employer of choice for caregivers, offering even part-time team members a great benefits package, enabling them to provide the best caregivers in the area.
